My ea app doesn't stay offline

Summarize your bug Whenever I go offline and disconnect from my Wi-Fi and turn off my computer. I can't stay in offline mode without using wifi. I never had this problem before. I can always leave it offline and turn off and on my laptop without needing to log back in.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By updating or making the EA app more easier to make offline playing possible. WITHOUT needing to to log in every single time.
What happens when the bug occurs? It exits out of the app and i would need to connect to the Wi-Fi to refresh the app.
What do you expect to see? Offline mode made more easier to play games offline & don't need to log in every time i turn off or on my laptop and use any Wi-Fi to refresh the app.

I wish that EA would consider on making The EA app more easier to play games offline without needing Wi-Fi to log in and refresh the app every single time. It's getting exasperating. When I was playing with the origin app. I can stay offline for hours without needing to log in or have Wi-Fi. I can log in one time. Turn it on offline mode & disconnect from Wi-Fi & still stay on offline mode no matter if my laptop was on for hours or off for hours & when i would want to turn on my laptop. I can pop up origin & continue to play my games offline without logging in. This needs to be worked on.

    I have this problem too. It's been happening for months at this point, since the Origin app was replaced by the EA app (it's not fixed devs...).

    I just want to play Battlefront 2, which I bought from Steam and is the only thing I play on the app...

    The problem loops as follows: I boot up my hotspot and log in to the app. Then, I proceed to put the app in offline mode, turn off my hotspot, and play Battlefront 2. After x minutes, the EA app boots me out to the desktop to give me the "due to a persistent error" message. I get back in my game and finish my session. Oftentimes the computer goes to sleep between this session and the next. When I go to play Battlefront 2 again, I receive a "We couldn't find your account info" message (Error code EC:201), and I am forced to repeat the cycle despite me frackin' pressing the "remember me" button (and for me it's extra infuriating, as I have two EA accounts for goof reasons. I often sign in twice because I sign in to the wrong one.)

    Like I and the original poster said, this pseudo-offline shenanigans has been happening since the Origin app swapped to the EA app (with some relief since --the offline button actually works now --- yet no respite to the issue). It's getting quite unbearable. Developers, please please please fix this. I actually had a positive image of your company before I bought my game. If this keeps happening over the next few months, I may try to find a way to sever my game from your app permanently. It's been that incredibly frustrating.
