My games don't launch

Hello,

I've been using EA Desktop for about 3 months (thanks to the xbox game pass) and for a few weeks I've been having big problems launching.

My games don't launch anymore, no error message, just the "play" button that grays out for a few minutes to return to normal. Nothing in the task manager either.

Also, I can't "open from ea desktop" on the xbox game pass interface (actually this work again for no reason), I reinstalled ea desktop with the uninstallation utility, I tried to launch the games directly from their exe, and finally my games had recently disappeared from my library on the game pass but were still present in the ea desktop application (games that came back for no apparent reason in my library a few days ago)

Do you have a solution?

    Hello @Wherxit,

    Seems we had quite a few players coming in through the Xbox Game Pass, but let's have a look at the problem that you're having. 

    When they Play button is greyed out, it could be a cache issue. You can clear the cache via the App Recovery tool. You can find it by pressing the Windows logo on your keyboard and going to EA > App Recovery > Clear cache. 

    If you can't open EA Desktop through the Xbox App, then uninstall EA Desktop after clearing the cache and reinstall EA Desktop through the Xbox App. 

    The Xbox Game Pass games won't show up in Origin, as the promotion is only available through EA Desktop. 

    Could you give it a go and let me know if it worked?
