New EA launcher won't launch Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Steam version

Ever since I changed from Origin to this terrible new launcher I've been completely unable to launch Jedi Fallen Order. Every time I try, the EA app window shows up blank for a few seconds before disappearing, then eventually the full EA app window shows up with an error that says "Your game failed to launch - An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later." This has been happening for weeks now and it's completely unacceptable.

If I could go back to Origin, I'm sure that would fix this, but I can't because I can't download the Windows client installer anymore, thanks for that. If this is still just a Beta program, why can't we go back to the older program that works? Fix this broken app, let me redownload Origin, or get rid of your third-party launcher DRM entirely and just let me launch it through Steam please.

FYI, I don't know if this will help anyone, but I finally got Fallen Order to work launching via Steam (and it launches the EA App).  After several attempts of reinstalling both the EA App and Jedi Fallen Order, nothing worked.  What finally worked was installing them both on the same hard drive.  When I installed them both on my C drive it worked.  Maybe the EA app has an issue not finding the game if it's not on the same drive?  dunno...

This may not always be the reason but certainly is one of the main ones. When the app(s) are not on the same drive, the registries don't recognize you have it installed so it cannot locate the file path. I try to mention having them installed on the same drive as so many players now have more than one. I myself have an SSD just for my OS alone so I navigate all my games to the HDD.
