Unfortunately, after using this plugin, Origin will still pop up the EA APP upgrade window, but thank you very much for your help!😢

Would be nice to have some kind of update on this, especially if it's happening to multiple titles. So frustrating to not be able to play. Like sure I'm probably not going to login every day, but I still login every other week or so to bang it out for a bit.
I've now been unable to login since March.

@Artunias this has been ridiculous for a long time
I am a software developer, this sort of bug is something that would get assigned priority 0 and I would be called in the middle of the night to fix ASAP, dropping every other assigned task

Same issue! Tried to re-install ANTHEM to play it again after 2 years uninstalled. Fresh EA app install (both same Windows).

Hey Everyone,
If you still have the same issue with the game, the team is looking into this and would like to get more logs from you. When you get a chance, please attach a recent EA App Error Report ID Here
They would like to check out recent logs so any previous ones attached need to be updated for today's logs.

Same issue for me here, bought the game on Origin on release 4 years ago and went to re-install it last night on the new EA app. Wouldn't launch so did some googling and found that people signing up with the EA play pro ($15 per month) would have it launch right after the transaction. Freind of mine also purchased the game on release (not sure through Origin or not) and his launched right away after the install finished.
I can confirm that this indeed did fix it for me. Yes I wanted to play again so bad that I paid $15 to fly around and bust out some sweet combos again 🙂
I've also read that once you unsubscribed from the EA play it wont launch again so its for sure something with the game and my EA account and being linked to EA pro somehow. I will unsubscribe later this week and see if wont launch again after.TLDR: You really want to play again? Subscribe to EA play pro (didn't try regular EA play) and once you are subscribed the game will launch right away.
@EA_Shepard See what worked for me above and a few other people online and this might lead the team to figure out what happened when switching from Origin launcher to EA launcher.

This is an issue for me too, but only when trying to launch Anthem (other games are fine).
Have attempted typical troubleshooting advice by clearing the EA app cache, repairing and reinstalling the game and app, but none of these efforts have worked.

The game is finally launched on my side, I did another test in doubt but no worries, the only thing I did was to indicate previously I made a ticket on Friday to report that the game does not launch by putting the "InstallLog" file, then with the ticket number I go to the EA application > the 3 bars at the top left > help > EA error reporting tools I described the problem by putting ticket number
today the game launches
i pre order the game
i buy the DLC
im on PC
i have EA play (not pro)

@Kerredd I appreciate it. This has been sent over to the team and they are aware of the sub part. The only reason I haven't posted this is we cant actually ask players to go subscribe to a subscription to fix an issue. This is part of what the team is trying to resolve so players don't have to do that. - ICE_bel782 years agoRising Novice

only got a pop up now every tilme for asking administrative privileges and by granting them i can play 🙂

wooooahhh, yeahhh, nice... awesome!!! I was able to launch and play Anthem today (after ~5 months of daily launching the game on EA App with no success)...

- Electricz02 years agoSeasoned Rookie@EA_Shepard OP here. I recently did a clean installation of Windows 11 unrelated to this issue. I also did a clean installation of all of my games to my internal expansion (non-OS) drive. After all of that, my game is running again with minimal issues.
