Just tried loading EA Desktop tonight.. and it worked!!

Finally, after many weeks of having it crash every day it didn't crash at all tonight.

I checked the version number and it appears that there was a new patch version a couple of days ago so I'm guessing that patch fixed it.

No more double "oops something exploded" pop-ups.

        Installed Origin to still play EA games & noticed that EA Play games aren't on there, so switched back and now it suddenly works? hooray for unreliable bugs and weird fixes

    Weirdly enough, switching from Power saver battery mode to Balanced on Hybrid mode (Lenovo) fixes this issue for me.

    The application won't launch when in Windows 10 battery saver mode. Is this a bug?
