That’s only a temporary fix and doesn’t work for some people 

@Straatford87  A lot of people are starting to get the same issues I'm considering that there's a bug in the client that is preventing the users from using it after logon 

I'm having the same issue as well.

• Make sure EA Desktop is closed.
• Go here and download the "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
• Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall "EA Desktop".
• At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "Moderate" > Browse.
• If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
• When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All (Make sure the "Origin Games" folder is not in the list) > Delete.
• Restart the PC > Run Origin as Administrator > Reinstall the EA Desktop App > Test.

Same problem, doesn't happen every time.  Can just put the window to the side and keep using funnily enough.  Switching back to origin.
