Wanted to add that I tried the steps here twice, and still can't launch the app. (https://bluebellflora.com/2024/04/04/ea-app-recovery-for-mac-reset-ea-app-by-clearing-cache-and-other-files-manually/)

Okay so I tried this, made the user and admin and when I logged in it immediately tried to launch EA and I hit the same error before I could even click anywhere. :/

Ok, thanks for trying. You can trash that new account now, it was testing to see if the issue was anything related to your normal account.
Do you have anything installed on your Mac that you think may be interfering with EA App launching? Any antivirus or apps that may prevent connections. Have you ever used any apps that claim to "clean" your computer and get rid of unnecessary files?
Which version of macOS are you running?- 11 months ago
@Bluebellflora No I’ve never installed anything like that in terms of “cleaning” apps. I only had NordVPN for a while but I got rid of it some time ago. I read somewhere that using the migration tool (which I used when I purchased this laptop to transfer everything from my older one) might cause some issue but I’m not sure how true that is.
also I’m running the latest version of Sonoma I believe it’s 14.4.1
