Here we are with a "me, too." I have a new laptop, acquired in December 2023. I added the EA app as a fresh install a couple of days ago, and I have yet to be able to get my library to show, much less download and play anything. I verified the things in the follow-up post at the beginning of this thread. I am, in fact, using the correct EA account information. I have attempted installing and reinstalling, not as administrator, as administrator, and every combination I could do (rebooting after each failure). I have also attempted just about everything I can find online to do without success. I even attempted to download The Sims 4 base game from Steam thinking I would pull everything in there from the EA app if it worked, and Steam can't even talk to the EA app to get anywhere with that idea (I never get as far as getting a prompt for my EA account).
To answer questions asked:
- A handful of games: The Sims 4, The Sims 3, The Sims 2, It Takes Two.
- 01/11/2024 (I've played using the EA app on an older PC without issues; it only started on the new laptop this week).
- EA app version ... Well, since I just downloaded from the web site, it absolutely should be the most current. To confirm, however, it is 13.96.0.5609.
- I do not have an Error Reporter ID. I submitted an error report through the app, and it appears to work properly. However, I have not received an email confirmation, and it does not show up in my cases. I guess that part isn't working either.
