Re: Error Shows EA App Already Installed

@VPbedo There may be files on your system from another download, or there is an issue with the EA App install. See if the following work for you. You gotta find all folders and files with the EA App and get them deleted.

Delete Windows Temp Files

  • First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
  • Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
  • Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
  • Delete everything it allows you to delete
  • Reboot the PC

Optional Registry clean-up

  • install CCleaner (it's free) from here
  • Run Registry cleaner
  • Click review selected issues
  • Do you want to back up? No
  • Click Fix all selected issues

  • @EA_Shepard I have the same issue, i tried to clean %temp%, delete all the files that are include registry editor, i even used the EAapp-12.26.0.5283-1217.msi file, it didnt help, i just bought Dead Space 3 and after that it wont install, i restart the application and it said error 09-D902. Probably the only solution is to reinstall my Windows i guess. Thanks for good app.

@Sandverstone Reinstalling Windows is definitely not ideal by any means. Have you tried a new Windows admin account or something like Safe Mode with Networking or a Clean boot to see if any of these options make a difference?
