Re: [FIXED] Downloading Apex via EA app - "There's a problem with your download"

Keep getting a download error while trying to update Apex in the EA app.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled both EA app and Apex Legends and tried running as admin to no avail!  What gives?

Thanks.  I just sent support an email.  Not sure what the issue is.  It isnt giving me the actual error is just says Download error and pauses the download.

I'm getting the same error..mine says "Something went wrong with your download. Give us a few minues, then try again." Did you get the same error? My game was working earlier today, and then I tried to launch it like an hour ago and it said my files were corrupted. Whenever I try to download, I get the error message. I'm guessing it's some problem with EA app...It will probably start working soon.. Try clearing your cache and make sure to run EA app as an admin.

  • TRY SWITCHING TO STEAM?? I almost have finished downloading on Steam, so hopefully that works. But as far as I know I still can't download on EA app ☹️

    Hey everyone,

    Thank you for the reports.

There was indeed an EA app outage last night that affected new downloads or repairs of Apex Legends via the EA app. This issue has now been resolved.

I'll hereby also close the thread.
