The problem has been solved it seems, I can play star wars jedi survivor now.

it hasnt been resolved for me. i still cant play bf 2042
no way for nfs:heat paid on steam... only way for crash 🙂
QA department gone away from EA
the app is still crashing for me, its never worked since the 7th.
I've tried to reinstall, repair, clear cache ect. the walk around doesn't even work for me.
is anyone else still having issues after they've said its been 'resloved'
Yes, and it's very frustrating!!! I've owned every battlefield since 1942 and although I've had issues before, it was nothing like this! I've tried everything, include a full reset of PC and fresh install. Highly aggravated! It's sad to think this "EAAntiCheat" is probably more about protecting EA's bottom line against piracy copies, than actually caring about cheaters in game.
- Fix the issue, not on the legit users end. It's EA's/Dice responsibility to prepare for any windows or drivers changes being implemented and update accordingly. Users should never have to go and adjust settings to get your game to work. It's lazy and unprofessional on EA/Dice part not to stay ahead of this.
ea app doesnt support firewalls blocks... it crashes on them..
if you turn off firewall it goes well
Getting a crash handler report when trying to launch BF2042. Running the Windows 11 Pro insider preview so that might be it. Attaching my dxdiag and error for reference.
