Hey Everyone,
We see that quite a few players are still running into this issue. If you still get this, please try the following:
PC Troubleshooting:
Spoiler- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
- Steam - Verify in your library
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings
- Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for the game (Microsoft VC++ Link)
- Download and update DirectX
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
- Try the Game in different Compatibility settings
- Remove any over-clocking or undervolt settings or software and check if the issue continues
Try a Clean Boot
Connection Steps
Spoiler- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4)
- Change TCP/IP Settings
- Set up a Static IP
- Check date/time is correct in Windows
- Try a new Windows User Account
- Reset Windows Host File
Change UAC Controls within Windows
If these steps do not work, we will need the following from you
None of these solutions will work for me as I can't actually get into the app to do any of them. The error comes when I'm still trying to log in, so I am unable to view cache or any of the other solutions that involve opening the app.
Yep. That's me. Leave it to EA to make a broken app!
still having this stupid issue even trying to go through steam. its making me hate anything EA. when i try to go through the EA app, it gives error code EC:10000. when i try to go through steam it says there is a connection issue and the system timed out.

- Date this issue started (is it still happening?) It's been happening on and off since I downloaded the game.
- Any other errors? Yes, constant issues getting the game to even open. Constant issues connecting to EA servers when the game finally does launch. I'm able to play tons of other games with zero connection issues, this is only with FIFA.
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip:
- Attach a DxDiag:
- Attach the EA App Error Report ID: I get both EC 10500 and EC 10000 sometimes when I open the game from Steam. When I open from the EA App, it just says it can't connect to servers and never launches the game.

Does this work for someone who tried to reinstall the app, and can't even do that?
