Re: In EA Play Games "Unavailable in your region" but Origin

Im from Brasil, South America.

If this is about Battlefield 3, then it could be working as intended. The game isn't available for download/purchase in certain regions. 

The issues with A Way Out and Dragon Age Inquisition have been fixed and should no longer happen. 

I opened the origin and i saw the game, if my ea play were not associated to Xbox Game pass i would even be able to download it. So why can i download the game with Ea play in origin but not in Ea Desktop? Like, the game is the same, the region is the same and the service is the same, but in Ea Desktop i cant download it, actually, i cant even se the game properly.

And as i said before, i can download the DLCs, but not the game itself.

Hey, late to the party here,

BF3 isn't available in my area (according to EA Desktop), I'm from the UK, I can't seem to find anything on the internet suggesting BF3 is region locked intentionally for the UK.

I would really like to play the Battlefield that I'm most nostalgic for.

Using the EA Play Desktop Beta with the xbox games pass, I've been able to download the other BF games but no luck with BF3 - it does show up as available in the xbox companion app, but when it leads me to EA Desktop I'm met with "Unavailable in your Region".

I don't have a VPN so doing the band-aid fix isn't a option for me. Any suggestions? 

Ah, thought this would have maybe been a bug or something as it's available in the Origin store. Thanks anyway.

I'm from India and I am having a problem with BF3 too. Can you please just fix it?

September 18th. Issue is not FIXED! I managed to play BF3 on my region 4 months ago (France) via the Game Pass and now it says that the game is not avaiable in my region? C'mon EA!

I gotta bump this, did it ever get fixed? Seems like EA always gives the same excuse saying that it's working as intended when it clearly isn't..

BS! How can something be available from EA on Origin but not EA Play?!

You cannot say something is region locked when it is in fact NOT region locked (by DEFINITION it cannot be region locked since EA do offer it in a region through one of the launchers). 

Rather say you don't have an answer, because you clearly don't, and it seems you haven't really gone to the lengths required to find an answer. Perhaps there is another "community manager" out there with enough savvy to get an answer to the problem. 

In case the above is too difficult, here is the simplified version Jason:

BF3 = available on Origin

BF3 = not available on EA Play

BF3 == NOT region locked, so something else is wrong. 

Why Is NFS Payback working on my Xbox , and on the PC with the same account region locked ?

Bumping this. Trying to download from Turkey, I've played hundreds of hours and now we're unable to even download the game all of a sudden? Please get this fixed ASAP, EA.
