Has there been any update to this? if so this is scugin dumb if we bought on Origin we just can't play anymore is ridiculous

@SirKrimsonSins There has not been an update to this as of this morning. The cause has been found, it is a matter of fixing it for everyone. When there is an update for it, I will let yall know here.
So the cause has been found, but I am guessing it is still broken?
I guess we just got to keep posting until they finally fix, because it seems like EA support just doesnt really want the help.
I'm sorry to say this but the email option for support is terrible, part of customer support is actually talking to your customers

@FromTheWolfs It isn't actually broken. There is way more to the reason it isn't launching. At the moment, there is no need to keep posting because they know what the issue is and they are trying to resolve it the best way for all players. This isn't always done overnight. If these things are not tested correctly then it could cause more harm and we are right back here. Im watching this closely because I enjoy this game and I am a huge Bioware fan, so I want to make sure everyone is updated on what is happening. Sadly the last update I saw was that they are working on a way to fix it for everyone at once and not on an individual basis as that would take quite a while to do.

@EA_Kent got the problem resolved with a ea. agent online called Pawan2 ''https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/you-need-to-enable-uac-windows'' Adjust the Protection level and it will Resolved the problem many thanks to Pawan2 This did not resolve the problem for me. Can you explain what protection level you changed your settings to?
Trust me, they will never fix this, i already lost hope in this crappy EA apps smh
It's really just super frustrating that we're getting close to six months of not being able to play a game we paid for because of some kind of error that's purely on EA's end.
But since this is "not a priority" or whatever we just have to sit here and not play. It kind of blows my mind to be honest how it's ok for a game to not be playable by a paying customer for MONTHS. Feels like that should definitely be a priority.

Sadly this did not have any effect on me being able to launch the game at all. I guess the search still continues.
- @EA_Shepard Hello I hope you are doing well so far and you are having a good day. I would like to ask if there is any update from the team regarding fixing the problem as it is a little frustrating/vexing to not be able to play. Some posts before have noted that this error has been ongoing for months and I can't help but wonder if any progress has been made? Thank you for your time and hopefully the fix is not too far away.
the UAC fix is stupid, one of the "recommended" settings that supposedly fixes the game is the Windows default, meaning 99% of people should be unaffected by the server errors from the very beginning, this *can not* and *will not* fix this issue, there might be another issue caused by non-standard UAC settings however

@Goldenapplejet I took a look this morning and I am afraid there is not. I did put in a request for an update from the team. Once they provide one i can pass along I shall do so here for everyone. Hey. I have the same problem. I logged over 100 hours of gameplay since release, playing using Origin launcher. Couple of plays ago i desided to play again. I dowloaded the game with EA launcher, tried to start it and getting error (screenshot). turned on UAC, redownloaded game again but it still give me the same error
Join the club, everyone's having the same "Failed to launch game" problem. It seems that everyone that played Anthem since Origin Launcher facing this exact issue.
My friends bought Anthem on EA store recently, they're fine and enjoying their time grinding in the game- @Bibig00n @ZanSenpai Sent you guys a private message for old Origin fix if you want to play Anthem again.

Unfortunately, after using this plugin, Origin will still pop up the EA APP upgrade window, but thank you very much for your help!😢
