Re: Sims 4 - Game License Invalid

I have done everything. I AM online. I cleared cache as recommended and it did not work. I then unistalled then reinstall the game. Did not work. I uninstall the EA app redownload it. Still does not work. Anyone else have this issue and fix it?

    An answer to this I have seen is:

    The EA App may be the issue here, not Sims 4.  So, try force-updating it.  Go here:

    C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

    and launch the EAUpdater.exe.

    If that works it'll be a miracle because there's a lot of people in that post including myself that have tried that and it still doesn't work.

    Sadly, I just tried this ^ and it did not work ... :{ I'm having the same issue. My game was literally working two days ago and working just fine, all my mods are updated, and the game was updated, I even tried taking my mod folder out to see if it was the issue, it was not. Very sad I can't play the sims 4 right now. :{

    I uninstalled my game and reinstalled it, got rid of the EA app and reinstalled it and did the suggested updater and it STILL doesn't work. Seems to be a bug with the newest update.

    I agree. It’s definitely the game itself at this point- sadly we will have to wait for the next update… I also tried resetting my ea file itself as recommended by someone else and that didn’t work either so :/ til the next update i suppose. This is why ts3 is better.

    I don't know if you saw them but there was two others who got it to work for them through talking to a rep and doubling down that it's a problem on their end. Also don't know if you've tried that method yet either.

    I have sent numerous messages in the EA app under the "help" section but never got anyone to get back to me

    Try this. Uninstall The Sims and EA App. Restart your computer then download sims through Steam. Its finally working for me!

    Finally got it working by restarting my computer with the EA app uninstalled. I downloaded Sims from Steam and it connected all my packs. Its working now!
