All suggestion in youtube not helped (UTF-8 encoding, reinstalling, update, compatibility mode, run as administrator and etc).

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you for sharing your examples and details about the issue where the EA app doesn't start and doesn’t appear in your taskbar (i.e., nothing happens when you attempt to launch the app, not even momentarily).

    *If you're in the Kosovo or Serbia region and your EA app is working but your library appears empty, please refer to this thread here.

    We’re currently investigating this issue and appreciate your patience. Based on initial observations, it seems to primarily affect Windows PCs, though there’s still a possibility it could impact some macOS users as well. For this reason, we’re leaving this thread here on the EA app Tech Issues - PC board.

    At this time, no further examples are needed, but for reference, here’s the information that has been most helpful in our investigation:

    Spoiler
    • Your country/region.
    • Your system (Windows or macOS).
    • Your version of Windows or macOS.
    • Confirmation that no error messages appear.
    • Your EA app Error Reporter ID (you can generate one using this link).
    • EA app logs (see instructions here).

    Hi, thanks for givin an answer, hope the EA App works, for now i use Origin app as a gateway for EA games i buyed on Steam. 

    Just wanted to note down that game "It takes Two" works without EA app or Origin installed, maybe there is a solution.

    Update:

    1. I downloaded newest update today through EAUpdater.exe (C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop).
    2. App updated to a newest version
    3. EA App is launching again

  • I can also confirm that EA app finally starts after the new update (also had to run EAUpdater.exe manually to get it updated).
  • What did you do? I have tried the EAUpdater.exe and it still tells me that the device did not open. I was playing 30 minutes ago and got out to do something and nothing will work.

    EA app working again. I had the "ucrtbase.dll" error according to Event Viewer. I did not reinstall the EA app (did it at least 20 times while searching for solution), just went to Windows Setting -> Apps and clicked on Uninstall / Repair. App now starts, no problem.
