First of all we are players like you here trying to help within the limits of our competence and ability, unfortunately we don't have access to your account and we certainly can't be the ones to provide support for a possible refund. That said, the title of this post is EA play (which is the subscription service) and the complaint was about that. If, on the other hand, the problem is with the EA app, we can talk about that.

I have tried all of these things.
Logged out and back in
Cleared the CACHE
Uninstalled the EA app and reinstalled it multiple times
Ran as administrator
Deleted every bit of sims on my computer, getting rid of my 200 plus hours of work.
Restarted the computer multiple times.
The EA software will download other games, just not SIMS 4. I have been at this since 6am.
It's sad EA takes zero responsibility for this.
- @Kingbones33 Do you have the most recent update for the app?
With the app closed, click on Start>EA (folder)>EA Updater and wait until the app is updated. Then try again App Recovery.It was up to date and still doesn't fix the problem.
My biggest concern is getting a refund. I now see EA has zero chance of doing that and has a history of leaving customers high and dry.
The chat said they had no power and no superiors above me and directed me here, lol.
I am so over this company.
What exact error do you see in the EA App when you try to download the Sims 4?
