I have the exact same problem! I downloaded sims 3 to my boyfriend’s new laptop and after buying and installing one of my missing games all custom content stopped working and nothing I did fixed it. I removed the games thinking it would be a quick fix but now Showtime and Movie Stuff refuse to be downloaded. We’ve tried literally every solution suggested and then some and it’s driving us absolutely crazy, going on two days trying to find an alternative fix 🫠 I just wanna play the game
