Summarize your bug I cannot download 2 very specific expansion packs for The Sims 3: Pets and Island Paradise.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't think it can be replicated as many different users are experiencing the same bug with different packs, or entirely different games.
What happens when the bug occurs? The download sits in "Pending" status for 30-45 minutes, after which it throws a dialog box saying there was an issue with the download but gives no error code.
What do you expect to see? I expect the application to download content I have purchased without having to spend 4 hours on the internet trying to solve a problem.
In addition to the above, I have tried every solution I could find here on the Answers pages as well as everything in your help documentation for this issue. These potential solutions include: Clearing the download cache, allowing the EA app through my firewall, editing the logon for the EA background process, using Origin despite not being able to fully interact with it, uninstalling all of my Sims 3 content and wiping the registry stuff left behind, uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app and also wiping the registry stuff left behind, logging in and out of the EA app, and going offline and then online in the EA app. I have included images that show the dialog box as well as the content I was unable to install and the "Pending" status .
