I've been trying for almost a year. They have no fix, and based on how their customer service acts, they have no intention of fixing it. The agent I spoke to today refused to give me any update since my last message from them a month ago. I even told her it's fine if they're still working on it, I just want to know that that's what's happening. She ignored me and then she marked my case "fixed." When I reached back out to have this false "fixed" status changed, EA refused to change it and refused to let me report that to anyone.
EA is entirely negligent. I'll never buy another game from them.

A fix for this issue went live on Friday that resolved the install issue for some players. We have more fixes for other causes of this issue in testing right now, and hope to release them as soon as we're able.
I do apologize for the lengthy wait on a resolution, this issue proved to be very complex in the end but we believe we've got it figured out now.

I'm still having this issue as of 27th September 2023 - also tried all EA "advice" and nothing works.
When will the so called fix be available to everyone? How can it work for some people and not others?
We paid for this product - the fact we have not had access to it for more than a year is shameful on EA's part and simply amounts to theft.I am currently having this issue. The base game downloaded, but none of the other packs will. Stuck on preparing and then it tells me there is an error. I'm glad this is actually being worked on. Can you tell me what to do now that there is a fix? It definitely is not fixed across the board.
Is there any timeframe you can give us?
This has been an ongoing issue for months (thanks for the help EA), and I know this wont work for a lot of you, but I realized that the only packs I was having issues with were the ones I bought through EA. The ones I bought from a third party worked perfectly well and have been running great.
So luckily I realized this within the EA return window, returned my games, got my money back, and bought the packs through a reliable third party, and the problem was fixed!

I managed to get all my eps installed by using the discs I have for the three that wouldnt download thru the app. Nice to see the welcome page back up on the launcher. Currently reinstalling all my store items. Such a long process.
