Hey all,
We're looking into this issue at the moment, if you're currently getting the error where certain DLC is not installing, could you provide the following information please to assist us:
- Your EA ID
- What content is not installing
- An EA Error Report ID Number
Thanks!
I'm not sure what you mean by EA ID
The base game installed for me with no problems.
I decided to do a clean install.
I used CCleaner for the registry after uninstalling the game and making sure there were no more EA or Sims 3 files on my system. After doing a restart, I had the same problems with a fresh download. I can download the base game - but none of the add-ons. Even with trying one at a time. World Adventures will not download for me.
I already know to used Task Manager to set affinity to use only one Processor. After unselecting All Processors, I chose CPU1 (any suggestions here would be appreciated in case I need to choose a different one)
And so I went through the whole process again of uninstalling and cleaning up all of the left over files on my system because I had read that having an Asus motherboard might require a total shutdown (rather than a restart).
This did not fix the situation either.
In the launcher, I can see all of my Expansions and Stuff packs. They're all unchecked - except World Adventures (because I am trying to download it first - separately from the rest) and it will not download.
Can you Please tell me what I am doing wrong? I have a new PC with windows 11, a 2 TB drive, new Intel Processor, Nvidia 3090 (of which the Device Config Log recognizes and matched)
I am at a loss. Can you Please help with this issue?

@dillah2 If your packs show up in the Sims 3 launcher's Expansions & Stuff tab, that means they're already installed. Just check the boxes to enable them in-game.
