When I try to run The Sims 4 game, I keep getting this message. "The app couldn't read the game's license file, so If the problem continues, try clearing your cache."
I have been having this problem since the last EA App update. I can run other games with the app. It seems only The Sims 4 is affected.
I have cleared the cache several times as suggested. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, as well as launching the EAUpdater.exe. I did the repair game option a couple of times. I have disabled my anti-virus and VPN. I have tried to find any solutions on the forum, but I have only seen other players posting about having the same problem, but not getting any answers or help.
I have been playing The Sims since The Sims 1 was released. I was even a beta tester of Sims Online. I have spent so much time and money on this game and I feel like I'm just being left out in the cold. EA just wants my money, but can't be bothered to help when they break the game.
Hi.
I have a similar problem.
But still this problem is not solved?
If a similar case has already been resolved, can I pick your brain about something?:’-(

There hasn't been a solution to this problem because EA is busy sweeping it under the rug because they don't have a clue how to help us. So they would rather ignore us in hopes we just go away.

It's a more serious problem than I imagined…Thanks for letting me know.I just have a growing distrust of EA.
