Forum Discussion
Hi all,
This issue is most likely caused by Windows Firewall or third-party software blocking the connections required for the game and client to function properly. I recommend checking your firewall and antivirus settings to ensure that nothing related to EA or the game is being blocked.
Thanks!
TRY AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Clipped from my original post,
"I have cleared the cache several times as suggested. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, as well as launching the EAUpdater.exe. I did the repair game option a couple of times. I have disabled my anti-virus and VPN. I have tried to find any solutions on the forum, but I have only seen other players posting about having the same problem, but not getting any answers or help."
Thanks!

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!! (of not being able to play the Sims 4)
Thank you to EA, for completely ignoring me and offering no care or help. Thank you to the forum "employees" for deleting and moving my quests for help. And for copying and pasting blanket responses with out actually reading or helping me and others with this problem.
