I just returned to playing The Sims 4. I previously played it on Windows, but now I’m using a Mac and trying to download the game again. However, I can’t download it because the system says it’s available on Windows. How can I resolve this issue? Thank you for your help!
dmcln Did you buy these packs through Steam or Epic? If so, this is by design: both the Steam and Epic versions of Sims 4 are Windows-only, and so is the content you own there.

I recently switched from Windows to Mac and because I bought the majority of my packs on Steam I can't download them in the EA library. If there is a way to transfer the packs to a different system, help is much appreciated.
Payton_0008 there isn't. Sims 4 has never been available for Mac through Steam, you will need to re-purchase the packs in EA App or buy DLC codes from a reputable seller and redeem the codes in EA App.

Due to some changes, I switched from a Windows PC to a Mac recently. Although I cannot play other games, I still would like to play the SIMS4.
Is there any way to contact Customer Support directly to transfer my add-ons purchased from Steam on Windows PC to EA play on my MAC? All my purchased packs, kits, etc., are on Steam.
My save files for gameplay and builds are in there as well. Is there any way to recover or transfer these? Currently, it does not show up on my SIMS4 from EA play.
I do not want to start afresh and want to keep building my SIMS4 pack collection.
I am a wee bit devastated to think that I will lose everything because of the lack of crossplatform support. If I knew this in advance, I would have purchased everything through EA to begin with.
TIA for your help.
ImThePlatypus No, you will have to repurchase them. This is a common problem posted on the forums and there have been hundreds of posts on it with Windows users switching to Mac, there is even a dedicated thread buried somewhere in the EA App forum. There is no Sims 4 available through Steam for macOS and your contract of sale was with Steam. If you had played through EA App the DLC would be available for Windows and macOS.

Sagohannah22 Same question to you: did you get the content through the EA App, Steam, or Epic?
