I bought my sims 4 and few DLC two to three years ago. Now I open EA, it said it only available on Windows, but I was able to play this game 3 years ago on Mac. Can somebody help me?

Having the same issue here, but not with The Sims 4. That one seems fine for me on my Mac. In my case, it's SimCity the one I can't download on Mac.
Why, Maxis?
EDIT: Just saw the picture you've attached; it seems you've got the game from Steam. Have you tried downloading the game from Steam instead of EA app?
shabongg10 The Steam version of Sims 4 is Windows-only, so you won't be able to install it or any packs you own through Steam on your Mac. You can however unlink your Steam and EA accounts, then claim Sims 4 through the EA App and play it that way. Or, if you don't want your accounts unlinked, you could create a new EA account and add Sims 4 to that.
Regardless of how you proceed, any content you've bought through Steam will only ever be available in Windows.

Idk if you ever went further with this, but I tried to contact them about this two seperate times. The first person basically told me to get f*cked and the second at least kindly said "sorry, EA won't let us do anything about it"

Adding myself to the growing list of p*ssed off Sims 4 players who lost their Epic Games packs in the forced transfer from Origin to EA games.
I actually contacted EA Help twice about it and was told EA won't fix it and they can't help me. If EA was an actual decent company, it would give free download codes to everyone this happened to, but they haven't exactly been a decent company in like half a decade. - andreaxreadss5 months agoRising Newcomer
Hello!!! i first installed sims on the Steam App, and all of my my packs i purchased them from the EA App, and now i have a mac, did i just loose all of that money 😓😓?
andreaxreadss You should have access to any content you own in the EA App. What's happening when you try to install the game or play? Please post a screenshot or two.

Hello! i downloaded the app just fine from my EA account, when i opened, none of my packs where available, i closed the game and when i try the EA app it says this :( im not really sure if i need another app.I got sims and all of my expansions pack from the Steam app, back on my PC i dont know if thats the problem, since i switched to MAC and the Steam App says its available on windows only, so im wondering if i truly lost all my packs, cause i no longer have a PC, and i cant play on my NEW computer. Pleae help me and thank you.
andreaxreadss I thought you said you'd bought the packs through the EA App, not through Steam. Any content you own in Steam will only be available in Windows, by design. So there's nothing you can do except repurchase the content. You haven't technically lost it in that it would be available if you ever reinstalled the game in Windows, but it's gone for now at least.
Depending on how much content you own, a cheaper Windows laptop, especially a used one, might be a better purchase than another copy of each pack. Or you could consider buying a subscription to Parallels, which allows you to run a Windows virtual machine on your Mac. It has a free trial if you'd like to test it out before paying. It's also not cheap, especially long-term.
