Sims 4 download stuck at 99% on EA App
Sims 4 will not finish downloading on EA app. The download has been stuck at 99% for 12+ hours. Cannot cancel download. I have cleared the cache several times.

Thanks! I did that and went to update again, yet it is still stuck at 99% during the download. Is there a way to bypass this download?

That's annoying ☹️ Restart your Mac then launch EA App, sometimes that worked with Origin so worth trying here.

Thanks! Still stuck at 99%. My game is saved on an external hard drive, would that make any difference?
Did you ever find a fix my game is having a similar issue.
I am on the latest mac os (14.6.1) and having the same issue. I have tried:
- clearing the EA app cache through the EA app
- clearing the EA app cache manually
- restarting my computer
- restarting the EA app
So far with no success
