SIMS 4: Stuck at preparing

Hello! I was playing sims 4 normally and stopped and closed my game. I went to restart my game about an hour later and ea was completley down so I waited. It has been 2 days and I have not been able to open my sims game since. EA has been super slow. I decided to trouble shoot and tried a bunch of things. Nothing had worked so I reinstalled EA and unistalled my sims 4 game. I have not even been able to reinstall my sims 4 game. The installation stops at 42% on the preparing screen everytime. I have plenty of storage on my computer and I have run everything through administrator and even cleared my cache on the EA app. I legit don't know what else to do.
