Sims 4 Unavailable on Mac Through Steam?

I'm looking for help getting started on playing Sims4.
I know that to play Sims 4 on a Mac I need to download either the EA app or Origin based on how old the device is. I have a Macbook Air, it has an M1 Chip, and the macOS version is Sonoma 14.5.
I downloaded the Origin app first because I wasn't sure if my Mac was new enough to handle the EA app. Once I got it up and running I was then prompted to download the EA app, it wouldn't let me do anything else, but accept that prompt to download the EA app. I assumed that meant my device was young enough to handle the EA app. I downloaded and went through the setup prompt for it and I actually got in, I could see the Sims flash sale and everything. However, when I went to the library, it looked like this (see attached file).
It says that it's unavailable on Windows. I can only see the Windows version available on Steam for both Sims3 and Sims4. I'm wondering if my Mac personally is the issue, if it's not available for Mac, or if there is something wrong with me Steam?

Yes, if you're interested in playing The Sims 4 on Steam, please note that it's only compatible with Windows, as indicated on the game's Steam page.
