@D3vilish_S0ul Ok guys I repaired the game and now it's letting me play, hopefully this works for the rest of you!
It won't let me repair since I guess the update already started downloading (I force quit EA and went back in and it didn't change anything). This issue is bonkers. The update requires 5x the amount of free space I have.
