Sims 4 will not download

Sims 4 originally worked on my computer but I deleted the packs folder by accident and now everything has gone bad. Now, I can't even open the EA app. I have tried redownloading the EA app, restarting my computer, uninstalling sims 4, clearing caches and none of this has worked. My other issues were getting stuck on finalizing the download of sims 4 and getting stuck on verifying sims 4. I can't repair because it gets stuck on verifying. I'm not sure what to do as I have tried pretty much everything.
