Sims 4 Won't Open After Installing EA Desktop

When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 27.10.20 12:30 CST
Summarize your bug Sims 4 will not launch from EA Desktop or Origin Games. I get an error and EA Desktop crashes. Although, Madden 21 does launch from both Origin & EA Desktop.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt to launch Sims 4 from EA Desktop.
What happens when the bug occurs? An error pops up & EA Desktop crashes.
What do you expect to see? A pop-up that says, "Cannot start because required game data is missing or damaged. Please repair or reinstall the game via Origin."

    I was able to get it to work by uninstalling EA Desktop. Then, repairing Sims 4 on Origin. Finally, I re-installed EA Desktop. Thank you so much for your help.

    It happens no matter which launcher I use. Sims 4 doesn't start even when I attempt to open it without a launcher. This started when I installed EA Desktop.

    I was able to get it to work by uninstalling EA Desktop. Then, repairing Sims 4 on Origin. Finally, I re-installed EA Desktop. Thank you so much for your help.

    I know this is 3 years later but I have this issue. WHERE do I get Origin?? When I search it, it gives me the EA desktop version. See screenshot of error message.
