  • I went to update my game today and every time it stops at "Updating 3%." I cleared my cache, restarted EA and my laptop, deleted EA and redownloaded it, removed all my mods, and I tried to launch my game offline but then none of my packs showed up. Every time it shows me "Something went wrong" and idk what to do at this point

I couldn't update my sims 4, so i tried all of the things that the support tab recommended. I cleared cache, restarted EA app, restarted router, opened EA as administrator etc. I deleted all mods and save files in case something was corrupt. As a final resort I uninstalled sims 4 and now it wont even install it again. It says "something went wrong try again". I even uninstalled the EA app and it still won't work. It will install to 2% then go back to 0% and then jump between the two. I ran a repair on the sims 4, and it loaded to about 65% and then said something went wrong.

I've been trying to update my game with the new update release, but it keeps crashing at 3% and then shows an error. What can I do to fix this? Is there an alternative way to update my game? I've been playing offline because I can't update it to play at all.

I haven't played in a while because every time I download the mandatory update "something goes wrong" It looks like a lot of people are having this problem but no one seems to haven an answer for them. I haven't been able to update my game and therefore play it for weeks if not months. I've deleted files from my computer (I've never had problems with my data before), I've cleared the cache and restarted the app multiple times, I have also deleted Origin. If anyone at all knows what I can do to fix this please let me know. It looks like a lot of Mac users have this issue which makes me think it's a larger issue

For some reason this pack will not redownload for me. It keeps getting stuck at 2% and saying that I may need to restart the app. I've tried resetting the app, clearing the cache and even redownloaded the whole game but nothing has worked. This is the only time this problem has happened, and I'm not sure why it's this particular pack. I tend to repair my game after most updates or getting new packs as sometimes I cannot open the game and it works in fixing the problem, not sure if that could effect it somehow.
