    I did manage to get it running after uninstalling an App I was using called Smart App that tracks my data and gives me rewards every couple of months. Not sure if that was the issue but the EA desktop and my Steam are now working correctly lol.

I was driving insane thinking it was some problem of mine, the worst part of this is that this app is the only way to acces EA GamePass games, what a mess
