Steam can't start the game using EA APP

Question

Similar to the problem in here&nbsp;https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports-Technical-Issues/EA-games-bought-on-Steam-Won-t-start-with-EA-app/m-p/11914633#M8775except that:1 I don't get a error message2 EA APP says the game isn't available in my country/region in the detail tab, or that "my game file is corrupted" but my steam verified it and it was fine3 In my EA Collection the game icon is grey and there is a exclamatory mark says "An incompatible version of the game is installed and I need to uninstall steam version to launch" which apparently won't work cuz I bought the game on steam.4 I did play it directly through EA APP from game launch to June using EA PLAY PRO.5 I tried EA HELP twitter but they seem to ghost me already, the sended email hasn't seen a reply yet.

Having a similar problem. Click on the shortcut, eventually it loads ea play and says to repair the files but then says to try again later.

Occasionally it'll show it as downloading whilst also saying download complete. Either way, the game doesn't run through steam or ea play anymore and I'm having to go through origin to play.

Surprising how much one small update can * things up so much
