Summarize your bug When i finished playing DA2 for the evening closing the application normally literally breaks my entire computer. My PC won't turn off via the shutdown button, I can't open any microsoft apps or task manager and any other files don't fully load. I had no issues with DA: Origins and the only difference made to my PC was the EA app, which is a shocking piece of software. I cannot believe this piece of bloatware has been allowed to ship when it's actively causing harm to users. I'm really not interested in playing any EA game and it feels strange that I cannot buy games via steam and use the steam launcher, why do i have to use the EA app? I retested this issue and it happens every time I close Dragon Age 2, the EA app is the thing causing issues.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? PC specs: GRAPHICS CARD: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 Graphics Card PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7-11700K CPU, 8 Cores / 16 Threads, 3.6 - 5.0GHz MOTHERBOARD: Asus TUF B560M-PLUS WiFi Motherboard OS Drive: 250GB Seagate FireCuda 510 M.2 PCIe SSD
What happens when the bug occurs? Close dragon age II causes the EA app to bloat my entire PC into not opening any other files and prevents me from turning off my PC via the shut down option, i have to use the emergency restart instead.
What do you expect to see? A functional piece of software, or allow users to just use steam unmolested by unusable software.
PLEASE let us play EA games without trying to force people into using your software like the EA app, it's so bad and it's unusable, it actively makes me want to avoid playing EA licensed games in the future if i can't use Steam or just run the game's application without bloatware that actively games my computer run worse.
