The Sims 4 NEW EA app updates = 51 packs missing

For the amount of money I paid for this game. I am tired of always having  issues. I mean an update creates multiple issues including contents missing. 

EA this game is too expensive to have to rebuy. I have invested into this game and I enjoyED playing it but I cannot play my games when I would like to because of the  ERRORS and crashes.

Is there trouble? 

I am not happy Sims 4 

THE NEW EA APP UPDATE = 51 missing packs on my PC 


Forced to update from origin because it will be no longer be supported soon. Hence the little note up top on the screen when opening origin. 

This is ridiculous and it’s wrong!!!! 😡 😡 

(By the way) this is my 20th time having issues. I managed to loose a lot of game time and go back to fighting with the game to work and actually play it over the years! I have lost families on top of families 

saves on top of saves and go right back to recreating, redesigning, repopulating and the list goes on… Now my patience is gone.. so I am speaking out. 

But that EA App update 2 days ago blew a serious fuse!!!

    Hello @Womiko 

    Are your expansions missing from Origin, or are your save files missing from your game?

    Hey there @Tmgrl2,

    At the moment, The Sims 2 is not compatible with the EA App, which is why you're not seeing that in your game library. Please keep an eye on the thread here for more updates on this. For The Sims 3, what exactly are you missing from your account?

    Same.  This is the second time for me.  First time I managed to recover my data and expansions, now I haven't been able to, even after following the tips and advice given later on.  How long has the Sims 4 been out?  And what was wrong with the Origin launcher?  I swear if this issue does not get resolved I refuse to buy or play another EA game again.  This is ridiculous and just plain sad.  Multi billion dollar company can't keep things together and wants to fix or replace working software/equipment that shouldn't even be touched.  Man and we give them money?  Seriously?

    My games is also missing all expansions, packs and kits. I had everything up to Cottage.. I havent played in a few weeks but when I load my game I have the base game only. When into the game I'm missing worlds and content. The ingame library shows I have purchase the games so how do I get them to load?????? And to show up in the app library at the start up.

    I've had basically the same issue but I'm missing 66 packs in total.... 

    How, if, did you guys fix it cause I've been going back and forth with EA Help (ironically named if you ask me) for about a month and half and I've made literally no progress.

    Initially, I lost some of the packs back in January after I bought 2 kits but when the problem did seem to fix itself even after running multiple repairs, I decided to uninstall then reinstall it. Which actually made it worse cause I went from missing a couple of packs to missing ALL of them. 

    It's really frustrating cause, like all of you guys, I've paid a fair bit of money for content that I can't actually use.

    Any help would be so so so appreciated!
