"There's a problem with your download"/"Something went wrong" EA app Error - '24

Hey everyone, We've noticed some of you are still running into the "There's a problem with your download" or "Something went wrong" error in the EA app while downloading or installing games or DLC...

can i please get some help with my issues its almost 3 months now

Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Download Game
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 27.12.23
Summarize your bug Sims 4 wont download and error's
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try and download the game
What happens when the bug occurs? The download errors after staying on preparing for around a minute
What do you expect to see? The game and my 41 addons to download

This has been happening since the 27th of Dec, still having this issue now. Other games download perfectly fine but Sims 4 is the only game i cant download. The drive I'm installing on has over 800GB of space remaining. I have no clue what else to do after trying:

Clearing cache - Uninstall/Reinstall - Run as Administrator - Run in compatibility mode - Changing UAC - Not creating a desktop shortcut (as suggested by reddit) - Changing security permissions to full control - Enabling and Disabling "allow background downloads" & "update games automatically" - Limiting download speed - Allowing exclusions through windows defender - Adjusting Services properties - Making sure the files where im installing are not Read-Only - Removing every file associated with The Sims 4 - perform a clean boot - Add exceptions to AV & Firewall - Restart PC

Fells like I've wasted my money

      @EA_Kent I am having the same issues with SMB4 i tried everything and nothing works. I have the game through EA play Sub.

      @EA_Kent I'm having the same issues as well, and I've been actively trying to sort it out all yesterday and today, would really appreciate help if possible
