"There's a problem with your download"/"Something went wrong" EA app Error - '24

Hey everyone, We've noticed some of you are still running into the "There's a problem with your download" or "Something went wrong" error in the EA app while downloading or installing games or DLC...

@X__TheGroke__X I'm experiencing the same issue since today. Haven't played the game for 2 weeks then I opened EA App and The Sims 4 was missing even though the files were still on disk. Now I cannot install it again after removing manually. I tried everything including reinstalling EA App, changing download paths and disks and changing windows user.

What's the exact error message you're seeing, can you attach a screenshot to your post for me please?

I solved the problem. I bought an ea play subscription and the errors disappeared, I downloaded The SIms 4 and all the packs... Damn, do we really have to pay for a game that we already spent over $600 on? Ridiculous...
