right click on the ea-app icon, click properties.
next click the compatability tab.
select run as administrator.
ok
and exit.
now restart the ea app. go to your download and click download.
it will works?.. 😉
reason?.
the EA app doesnt have the required privilages to write to the C: drive. (assuming c is your o.s. boot drive).
alternatively if you dont want to run it as admin. change your download/install folder location to another hard drive d: or so on.
as your secondary storage doesnt need special write permissions.
