"There's a problem with your download"/"Something went wrong" EA app Error - '24

Hey everyone, We've noticed some of you are still running into the "There's a problem with your download" or "Something went wrong" error in the EA app while downloading or installing games or DLC...

I moved from origin to the ea app and decided to purchase the sims 3 base game, world adventures expansion, island paradise, worlds bundle, ambitions, generations and seasons. I tried downloading the game but a message pops up that says "something went wrong". I tried clearing my cache and restarting the app and my mac but it did not work.
