'Things are taking a little longer than usual to load up.'

Summarize your bug App fails to browse owned games and shows "Things are taking a little longer than usual to load up. Hang tight while we try" message after reboot
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Install EA App 2. Reboot 3. Run EA App 4. See bug
What happens when the bug occurs? EA App fails to find any game from my account
What do you expect to see? EA App correctly finds all games from my account

Clearing cache as described in the accepted answer does not solve the issue. Therefore this post looks like a re-post but it's not.

    None of the methods above Community Manager suggested worked. What worked at least temporarily for me:

    1. Uninstall EA app and reboot
    2. Install Origin (the predecessor of EA app)
    3. If you open Origin, it will show a screen which shuts you off from its access and tells you to install EA app. Ignore this for now
    4. Origin will go through all installed games, verify hashes, etc.
    5. After all hashing and downloading has completed, install EA app and uninstall Origin from Origin's block screen

    It works so far for me now. If anyone else is having similar problems give it a shot

    How did you pull down the EA notification to switch to their app. Everytime I attempt to route through origin I cant exit out of the EA screen to switch apps to do anything.

    You can't. But I only needed Origin to go through already installed games to hash them etc. so didn't need to do anything inside Origin anyway
