Hey!
I have same issue when i am trying to play games... Sometimes works fine, but mostly not. I have XB GamePass too, and when i'm trying to start the game i see only this message and grey "loading" button where PLAY button should be. My connection is OK (1000/100Mbps, by ETH. cat.6).

What helped me was performing a "clear cache": https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
From the EA Desktop app
- Select the three dashes in the far-left corner of EA Desktop.
- Scroll to Help.
- Click App recovery.
- Select Clear cache.
