What's been working for me (last I checked the "clear cache" method did nothing on my PC) is to open task manager and end the "EA Background Service" task. Shouldn't matter if you exit the EA App first, killing the background services seems to kill the app too. After relaunching the EA App, my games load properly.

@thecharsims Have you tried these steps? I understand that this is a frustrating situation and we need to be mindful of what we say on the forums. If a post is reported, action can be taken.
- 3 years ago@EA_Shepard Me too - can't see the Me Too button. I'm having the same issue, and using task manager to turn off the EA Background Service resolves the issue
