I have that problem, too. I haven't had access to my games for 4 games now.
I contacted support in several different ways.
The first response I got was from a bot offering tips to solve a completely different problem.
The second I got was from EA's customer service, who told me that I should download the EA Launcher and play my games from there.
I'm getting really pissed off with this, as it was forced upon us.

I have not.
I ran the updater and got access to my content for an evening. It was gone again the next day.
I finally got through to the EA help chat, and they are apparently aware of the issue and doing what they can to fix it. There was no estimate of how long it would take or anything to tide us over.
I've even tried to uninstall the app so I could reinstall it to see if that would work, but the thing keeps encountering an error and won't leave my computer!
There is an executive out there somewhere who pulled the trigger on a product that wasn't ready with a serious need of my boot up their butt.

I also kept trying and finally got it uninstalled. It now works, but I do not dare think it's permanently fixed.
This is happening to me as well this is so frustrating!!!
I had access for one night after updating too and haven’t been able to play since it’s pissing me off I’ve cleared cache and everything else that may be the problem but it’s EA.
