This is how i fixed it:
1.) Open ea games
2.) Link xbox games friends
3.) Figured out some hacker associated another account.
4.) Reached out to support they unlinked.
5.) Tried linking my friends.
6.)reboot.
7.) Installed EA games via game pass

I am glad these steps worked for you. I am sorry about the hacker part but at least you were able to find that out now and not later on. 👍 I hope these help others out too.

Okay so this actually worked, i did this after i knew my steam account got linked to a random hacker. Reaching the EA Help Customer Support helps me to unlink the account. I reached out from this topic https://help.ea.com/en/solutions/?product=ea-account&topic=resecure-hacked-account . There'll be queue and approximate time to wait until you can chat with the support to assist you.
