UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD KATY PERRY SWEET TREATS FROM EA APP TO MACBOOK PRO

Hello everyone,

I feel deeply embarrassed on EA's behalf to seek out help here as I have tried to tackle the issue via live chat with the EA support and it has obviously been useless.

I have purchased a SEALED physical copy of Katy Perry Sweet Treats Stuff Pack for The Sims 3 few days ago. I redeemed the code on the EA app and I can see the pack among the The Sims 3 Add-Ons. However, despite being able to download/install all of the others Expansion/Stuff Packs, this one is not available for download. No error message or anything like that. It's the only grey-colored pack among the Sims 3 Add-Ons list and there is no "download button" to click. What should I do? I paid for this Stuff Pack with my money and I want to be able to use it!

    AlexTorrance​  The problem is that EA customer support can no longer add KPST to anyone's account.  That includes adding the entitlement for the 64-bit Mac version to accounts that already own the Windows version.  This may have something to do with licensing—EA doesn't sell KPST at all anymore, maybe because it can't. 

    Regardless, it's been clear for years that while the "available in Windows" issue can be resolved for any other pack, it cannot be for KPST.  So there's unfortunately nothing you can do here.
