I have been having the same issue with Dead Space 2, since EA platform took over.
I have Dead Space (2008), Dead Space (2023), Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3. All load except for Dead Space 2, for months now I have been sending error reports (5) to EA. There has been no response to having the game fixed, so players can play all 4 on their platform. The same error notice, that the problem is on their end. Then if they know why are they not addressing the problem. Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later.
If anyone out there is having the same problem, do not waste your time, repairing, uninstalling and then reinstalling. Doing all that is useless, because the problem is on their end not ours.
Done all that a number of times.
Hope someone from EA tech support can fix their problem.
