Unable to launch game to to EA Account Password Expired

I just bought and launched BF6 on Xbox Series S, but I keep running into this error:
"Your EA Account password expired" "Welcome back! Your Xbox profile is linked to an EA Account you haven't used in a while. You can reset your password to recover your account, or unlink it and user another one." 

Here is what I've already done: I click "Recover my account" > I scan the QR code and successfully reset my password (including opening my email and doing 2FA) > I have repeated this process twice. 

I have already reset my password twice, but it keeps telling me that my password is expired. The game does not launch because it's holding me up at this error screen. 

If I try to skip past that screen, it says "Connection Failed. Unable to connect to the EA Servers..." "ERROR CODE 1:86001S:66003S:4688822970:0B"
