My bad if this is an insultingly obvious recommendation, but I was having this issue and it turned out my Steam account was linked to a different Origin account I hadn't used in a while. So it asked for the activation code for the Origin account I was currently signed into, but when I signed out and into my other account, it automatically opened the game without any issue. So if you have another Origin account, try signing into it and see if that fixes it.
this is thee main issue check if you have any other accounts this was my problem and remadee my password and it workeed
