    Hey all, if seeing this issue you can generally fix it by starting to download any free EA game such as Apex Legends. Once the download has started stop it and then try your other games.

I found another workaround. The "Download a free game" workaround wasn't working for me and any other workaround in here.

I was trying to download a game that is available in game pass and was an EA title when I encountered this error...

Workaround:

1. Make sure EA app is closed. Search for "Apps & Features" app/settings in windows.

2. Find EA app and click uninstall, a window should pop up.

3. Select Uninstall on the mini prompt wherein it says "This app and its related info will be uninstalled"

4. Then a EA window will show up BUT Select REPAIR, instead of uninstall option

5. That's it. Wait for it to reinstall/repair the EA app. 

6. Then proceed to redownload your game through Xbox app.
